A pop-up street performance, on New Briggate, will celebrate the rich Caribbean history and inclusive culture of the Carnival – a landmark annual event, now in its 56th year, that is enjoyed by everyone!
With steel-pan, soca and calypso you can expect an explosion of musical dance, colourful costumes and storytelling throughout. Come along and be a part of this unique and historic cultural event as part of East Street Arts’ Hidden Histories of New Briggate programme.
